Some show deadlines are coming up in January and, because of my good fortune of having had some recent sales, my inventory is low. So, I have been working on a number of scratchboards and I thought I would share my progress with you here.
This is a picture I started a couple of weeks ago of a light frosting of snow on the stone wall in the back of my lot. The piece is 12” by 16”. I just erased the watercolor lines I drew in as a guide on the raw scratchboard after scratching in the basic shapes and values. This will probably stay a black and white piece. If all goes well I will finish this in a couple of weeks. I’ll post my progress next weekend.
